The Q1 2026 edition establishes a baseline index of 100.0 across all size bands and both motor and sail segments. Dataset covers 303 motor and 59 sail listings from Burgess Yachts, Camper & Nicholsons, Edmiston, Fraser Yachts, Y.CO, Denison Yachting, and Moran Yacht & Ship. Total survey fleet value: motor €6.60bn + sail €0.64bn = €7.24bn asking.

Superyacht Depreciation Analysis

Empirical depreciation curves derived from the hedonic model show approximately 7.4% annual value loss from new, decelerating with age. Both ultra-premium and mid-tier builder segments follow identical depreciation trajectories — the builder premium is applied as a multiplier at point of sale, not as a depreciation rate modifier.
